BLAUER opens its first store in Rome, in the heart of the capital on a side street of Via del Corso, in the beautiful Via delle Convertite.
A single space between outside and inside, where the entrance houses a side LED wall that welcomes customers as a true window directly into the BLAUER world.
Uncompromising Performance, BLAUER's brand philosophy, is the foundation and core value for the new store concept.
Oxidised iron, stainless steel, grilles, trapezoidal sheet metal and stone punctuate the space of the BLAUER store, creating a complex, sharp and pure organicity of components: in addition to the use of primitive-looking metals that are added as one enters the store, materials have also been used that, on the one hand, tell of the brand's provenance and, on the other, wish to emphasise the presence of the BLAUER brand in a city as strongly monumental and solemn as Rome. Materials and coverings without the use of dyes, 100 square metres of concrete floors and walls left in lime plaster create an unfinished, material effect.
Monoliths for seating and counters, like real sculptures, have been deliberately created with stone from Vicenza, the city that baptised BLAUER's headquarters 20 years ago, establishing a strong bond with the brand.
